Psalm 46:10 (NIV)
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.
This painting is a great reminder that we should not try to survive on our own power. Sometime we get bogged down and busy with our daily tasks and we run run run. We feel like we have to be in control all the time and when we lose that control, we freak out. This scripture tells us that we frequently need to STOP and meditate.
